After five years of the Ben 10 brand going from strength to strength, they have finally teamed up with the ever popular Lego company to make six Ben 10 Lego toys. Available aliens include: Swampfire, Chromastone, Jetray, Big Chill, Spidermonkey and Humungousaur. Each set comprises between 14 and 24 bricks, and some exciting glow in the dark pieces are included. If you collect all six sets your child can combine them into a super alien.

As with the original 10cm Action Figures, for around £5 you get a well made, poseable figure complete with an alien information card. But also each Alien Force figure includes a mini translucent alien figure to attach to your child's Ultimate Omnitrix. Ben10 Alien Force Creation Chamber figures offer loads of fun as they can be mixed and matched. You get two 6.5cm figures per pack and you can take them both apart and back together in a different way so as to create a whole new alien of your own design. Children can battle against their friends with this Ben10 Alien Force Laser Set, which is the best of the non-video style Ben10 games. They shoot at their opponent to score hits on their infrared receiver - the first to score 8 hits wins. The laser guns are chunky and durable, perfect for indoor and outdoor use and are uniquely styled, complete with Ben10 Alien Force motifs. The guns also have impact LED indicators to tell players if they have been hit as well as indicators to tell them how much ammo they have remaining. There are four lights on the back of each gun - each time you are hit a light either flashes or stays lit. When they are all lit, the gun makes a 'you're dead' noise and the game is up! To start again you just press the reset button. The toys give out cool lights and sound effects during play to add to the fun.
Our thoughts
This is a great action game for any Ben10 Alien Force fan. The guns have a cool futuristic design and offer a fun way to encourage active play. They are quite large and need 4 AA batteries each which are not included so plan ahead to avoid disappointment. The sound effects are realistic to shooting in space and quite loud. The infrared seems to work pretty well and the game offers lots of fun running about and hiding from your opponent. The only downside is the price is a bit high.

The Ben10 Deluxe Omnitrix comes with lights, sounds and a LCD screen featuring full screen aliens. It is the the most feature full watch in the Ben10 Omnitrix collection. As you click the dial round a different alien appears on the screen. There is also battle game play mode where Vilgax attacks and you have only a few seconds to select the correct alien to defeat him. If you beat the timer and win the battle you will score some bonus points.
