Our thoughts
As with the original 10cm Action Figures, for around £5 you get a well made, poseable figure complete with an alien information card. But also each Alien Force figure includes a mini translucent alien figure to attach to your child's Ultimate Omnitrix. 10cm Action Figures - Original Series
You can also still buy the 10cm figures from the original cartoon series. These are just as good but come with slightly different things and are called Ben 10 Battle figures and Collectible figures. They are more difficult to find so can be quite expensive.

Ben 10 Micros are mini character figures that stand approximately 6cm tall on a base plate. They also come with some jellybean sweets.
Our thoughts
These new Ben 10 figures would make a nice collection to display on a bookcase or similar place. They are not articulated but could still be good for role play fun. You can choose the individual character you want to buy or buy them in random packs of ones or threes. You can also buy the full series of 18 all in one go. There are two series of 18 characters to choose from. The bulk packs are great to use to fill party bags as they offer good value for money. The figures are small enough to be easily portable.

Our thoughts
These 15cm Ben 10 figures are realistic, robust and well detailed but come with unique battle features that sets them apart from their smaller counterparts. These Alien Force figures are Deluxe versions of the 10cm Figures and each have a unique feature. For example, Brainstorm comes with doh that can be put in his head to mold his brain, Spidermonkey comes with a net that can be launched with his tail and Goop includes goo that can be pumped into his body and oozes through his pores. You can also buy the other popular Alien Force aliens of Swampfire, Echo Echo and Humungousaur.
Our thoughts
The 10cm Deluxe figures have all the upsides of the standard 10cm figures in that they are well made, poseable and hard wearing. The fact that they come with an added feature of goo or a net etc, pushes the price up somewhat. This gimic is likely to be short lived fun for your children so you may be better off buying more of the standard figures with your present budget.
#7 Ben 10 20cm Alien Action Heroes

Ben 10 Alien Action Heroes are large scale articulated action figures. They are two in one toys as they can not only encourage role play fun but they also have their own unique action feature when you transform them into a completely different toy. For example Jetray can fly through the air when released from his hand held launcher and Humungousaur turns into a missile launcher as he shoots two high power sponge balls from his mouth. Each figure comes with an accessory to turn these features into games. Children can challenge their friends to see who is best at hitting the included target sheet.
Our thoughts
At 20cm these Ben 10 Alien Force figures are large and look good. They also offer a great way to develop hand-eye coordination when playing the hit the target games. Using the features is probably the only downside. Humungousaur can be a bit fiddly to work for younger fans as they need to be careful not to break the head off when loading the balls and the gun can be hard to fire.

Our thoughts
This is the only way to buy a Way Big action figure so is a good choice if your child likes this character. The stretchy material should not be stratched as it will not work as well but is easily cleaned. After a few stretches the fun value will diminish.

Our thoughts
These two-in-one Ben 10 figures offer a good choice for any parent. The very poseable alien form is realistic, well detailed and built to be robust. The transformation to "working mode" is fairly simple taking only 5 steps for Heatblast, although the mechanics may be fiddly for younger children. They are a good addition to any Ben 10 toy collection but probably need other figures to complete the experience. The characters are from the original Ben 10 cartoon series and toy line so are harder to find in shops and can be expensive.

Ben 10 Sumo Slammers Collectable Cards and Alien Figures are 2 games in 1. There are various sets to choose from depending on your favourite aliens, although they only cover the characters from the original Ben 10 series, not Alien Force. Each set includes six 3cm mini sumo wrestler style figures of Ben's alter egos. Place the figures onto the included plastic base and try to flip off your opponent. Also included are 5 collectable cards which can be used in their own special game, known as the Menko Battle! Slam your card down on top of your opponent's... If their card flips over you win the card!
Our thoughts
The Ben 10 mini figures are small in size making them ideal for children to take with them when going anywhere. They encourage interactive play with other children including battling each other's figure and swapping figures to create their own preferred alien collection. They are not poseable but are very hardy. The figures without the cards or plastic battle field can be used for imaginative role play as your child has at least six aliens to interact with. The battle game takes part on the flimsy plastic base with you tapping the edges to make the aliens jump about but is quite fun. The collectable cards however, seem to have nothing to do with Ben 10 other than the logo as the drawings on them are not even of the aliens. It also seems to be impossible to flip over the cards by slamming on top of them. Due to their size they are not suitable for young children and can get easily lost.
#11 Ben 10 Planetary Powder Sets & Dissolving Alien Rocks

Both sets involve a mini alien that is either revealed or captured by adding water. By placing the Dissolving Alien Rock into water, you can watch as it dissolves to reveal a 2cm Alien Force character. By adding water to one of the three planetary powder packets you place in the included container, you create an intergalactic gel that captures your 4cm Alien Force alien. The Planetary Powder sets can also be used with Kevin Levin's Action Cruiser - a top Christmas toy.
Our thoughts
On the Planetary Powder Sets ... There does not seem to be much point to this toy. The alien sits in the container, you add the powder and the water which turns into a jelly that the figure sits in ... why???!! If you do not want this jelly ending up on your carpet and sofa, steer clear. The aliens are small, translucent and not articulated so are unlikely to give your children much fun.
On the Dissolving Alien Rocks ... Put the rocks in warm water and watch your childrens' excitement while they dissolve. Finally after much anticipation the tiny character is revealed. And when I say tiny - it really is. Imagine a 2cm figure - there's barely anything to it. The figure is moulded, single coloured plastic. There are no further colouring effects to detail the face or body and in fact it looks like a half chewed boiled sweet. If it didn't say which alien it was supposed to be on the packet, adults would unlikely be able to tell, although your Ben 10 fan will probably help you out. Be very careful not to lose them once they've escaped from their rock as they are so tiny. Also don't buy these for anyone under 5 or for any child that still puts things in their mouth as they are a choking hazard. If your child doesn't lose them they are still not likely to get much fun from them although they can also be used with the alien rock launcher of the Vilgax Battle Ship.

These 30cm Ben 10 Epic Aliens offer a large scale, semi-poseable toy.
Our thoughts
The 30cm figures are the largest of the Ben 10 Action Figures range and the least liked. The quality is not as good as the smaller figures as they are made from softer, smellier plastic and the toys have little more than twisting arms, legs and feet.

Ben 10 Figure Capsules
These Ben 10 capsules contain the pieces to assemble one 10cm figure. The capsules are 7cm in height and each one contains a randomly selected figure from the following five characters: Ben 10, Upgrade, Wildmutt, Four Arms and Heatblast. The capsules can be bought singly or in a box of 25. The larger box is ideal to use to fill party bags.
Ben 10 Jet Balls
You can choose between various packs of 3 Jet Balls. Each ball contains an image of a different Ben 10 character or alien. The balls are nearly 5cm in diameter and bounce really high.
